That’s right – I too am a Christian Zionist.
With that said I also give you “That’s right – I am a Zionist” a well written article by a blessed Sister in Christ for that this response is given!
Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”.
From this day forward, with the battle lines being drawn… it has recently come to my attention at close of 2008, the National Council of Churches made a statement declaring that “Christian Zionism is dangerous!”
This statement made by this group is not only wrong, it is most disturbing to me as a Bible believing born-again Christian living in these end times that the Bible clearly teaches; and yet so many supposedly Christian groups deny the very teachings that the Bible clearly reveals to those of us who are baptize with the Holy Spirit.
In a recent article written by Gary Stearman of prophecy in the news; he quotes:
“Around the world, the mantra is heard with increasing volume. “Down with the Zionist Satan!” “Zionism is illegal … and racist and imperialist!” Within intellectual circles, books, articles and tracts are carrying the same message. And it’s not only the Israeli settlers who are targeted. Those who support modern Israel are equally blamed by the same groups. A growing number of churches believe that Christian support for Israel as a divinely ordained nation is naïve and destructive”.

May I remind Christians that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was born King of the Jews…that’s right… Jews, as in Israel, as in city of Jerusalem the apple of our Lord’s eye, his holy city and the Temple Mount; also known as Mount Moriah, and as the Bible clearly states the name of the mount is Zion, a name that appears 153 times in the King James version and for more balance modern view it appears 168 times in the NIV.
So much of the Bible is written in eloquent terms relating to the word Zion, clearly expressing the love that the Lord Jesus Christ has for his holy mountain; for this is the only place on earth that G-d has said: “My Holy Mountain” and by the everlasting covenant that G-d gave to Abraham and all of his descendents… “The Jews” this land will belong to them forever!
A true Bible believing born-again Christian will only have a true love for the Jewish people and the land that G-d gave to Abraham, with that said; I am so appalled and hurt by the anti-Semitic views of certain mainline Christian denominations and groups that are expressing an urgent need that the governments of this world need to divide the land of Israel, all in the name of peace!
They use words such as “justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.” but truth be told “they just want Israel to give up what G-d has promised them”.
If we are to believe the Bible as the inherent Word of God then let it be told; if they try to divide the land…
“there will be no peace, G-d said so”!

The prophet Joel speaks here of what we Christians know as “the tribulation” also know as “the times of Jacobs trouble”, the last seven years before the Lord Jesus Christ will return to Earth with his saints that were Rapture before the seven year covenant that the Antichrist will sign with Israel and her Arab neighbors, deceiving the world into thinking that peace in the Middle East has finally been achieved.
Yes I am a Christian Zionist too, and I love the true G-d, the G-d of Abraham Isaac and Jacob… to us Gentile Christians he is Jesus the Christ and to our messianic brothers and sisters he has always been Yeshua the Messiah, and I state here boldly with conviction standing on the word of G-d that if there is anyone who calls themselves a Christian and hates his older brother the Jews then he is not a true Christian at all, just a C.I.N.O. (Christian in name only) and in the words of our Lord Jesus Christ:

I find it very interesting that the Lord here uses the term on my right hand and on my left hand describing the sheep and the goats that those on his right hand (the sheep) will be given everlasting life as they inherit the kingdom because of the love expressed to his brethren’s (the Jewish people) and those on his left hand (the goats) for they shall go away in everlasting punishment for what they did not do for his people.
Can it be said that the battle we born-again Christians faced today lies between those who hold a “liberal left worldview” as opposed to those of us who hold a biblical worldview; much of the “Conservative Christian right” it may be so… for one who is truly born of G-d and is saved by the blood of the Lamb: The Lord Jesus Christ, that person must truly be a Christian Zionist!
There is only one being in all of heaven and on earth that has always been and always will be; he is G-d who came to Earth in the flesh born of a virgin, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, born King of the Jews. Only Jesus “The Messiah” will bring true peace not just to the Middle East, but to this entire planet and throughout the entire universe, as much as man believes that it is up to him to do the work of G-d, realized this that G-d is sovereign and he is in control and all that is his will… will be done according to his good pleasure!

But before this happens the Bible says that a time of testing must come…
Revelation 3:10 10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
I can only state with the deepest conviction to anyone that truly cares about their salvation that if you don’t know the Lord Jesus Christ today, don’t put off this important decision to come to terms with a Holy G-d that suffered on the cross for your iniquities as he has been patient beyond anyone’s comprehension and those who believe in his name and his words and are not ashamed of them, he will keep thee from that hour of temptation; the tribulation, the time of Jacobs trouble, a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness.
With the rapture of the church, the body of Christ; those who put their faith and hope in Jesus Christ alone and have denied themselves will be saved.
